Sheep Island, along with Sanda Island and Glunimore Island, form a small group of islands approximately three kilometres south of Kintyre at grid reference NR733055. Sheep Island is situated 2 miles south of Macharioch Bay.

Glunimore Island is an uninhabited island around 3 miles southeast of the Kintyre peninsula, Scotland. It lies alongside Sanda Island and Sheep Island The island is just 200 metres long and rises to a height of 27 metres. Glunimore Island is situated 2½ miles south of Macharioch Bay.
