The Scottish Fisheries Museum is a museum in Anstruther, Fife, that records the history of the Scottish fishing industry and its people from earliest times to the present day.

Newark Castle

Newark Castle is a ruin located just west of St Monans, on the east coast of Fife, Scotland. The building, built in the 15th century, stands in a dramatic location, overlooking the North Sea. Newark Castle is situated 2 miles west of Pittenweem Harbour.

Pittenweem is a fishing village and civil parish in Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 1,747.

Anstruther is a fishing village on the East Neuk of Fife on the east coast of Scotland. With a population of almost 4,000, it's the largest of a series of villages along the coast: east through Crail to the tip of Fife, and west through Pittenweem and St Monans to Earlsferry, all covered on this page.

St Monans, sometimes spelt St Monance, is a village and parish in the East Neuk of Fife and is named after the legendary Saint Monan. Situated approximately three miles west of Anstruther, the small community, whose inhabitants used to make their living mainly from fishing, is now a tourist destination situated on the Fife Coastal Path. St Monans is situated 1½ miles west of Pittenweem Harbour.
