Namedy Castle

Namedy Castle is located in the Rhine valley, close to the village of Namedy in Andernach, Germany. Late gothic, moated castle originally belonging to the Husmann Knights of Andernach. Since 1909 in possession of the Rhenish line of the Hohenzollern dynasty. Namedy Castle is situated 200 metres north of Saint Bartholomew.

Andernach Geyser is the highest cold-water geyser in the world, reaching heights of 30 to 60 metres. The geyser was first bored in 1903 on the Namedy Peninsula in the Rhine near Andernach. Andernach Geyser is situated 1½ km southeast of Saint Bartholomew.

Hammerstein Castle is the ruin of a 10th-century mountain castle in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the oldest in this entire Middle Rhine Valley. The ruin of one of its watchtowers still overlooks the Rhine at an altitude of 195 m, near the village of Hammerstein. Hammerstein castle is situated 2 km north of Saint Bartholomew.
