Black Fortress

Sev Berd or Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri, Shirak Province, Armenia. The fortress, which lies 8 kilometres from the Turkish border, was built in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. Black Fortress is situated 1½ km northeast of Arrap’ii Hin.

Gyumri City Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Gyumri, Armenia. It is currently the home venue of the Armenian Premier League club FC Shirak of Gyumri. The current capacity of the stadium is 4,000 seats. Gyumri City Stadium is situated 2½ km northeast of Arrap’ii Hin.

The Mother Armenia monumental statue is a female personification of Armenia, located in the city of Gyumri. It resembles the monumental complex of Mother Armenia in the capital Yerevan. Mother Armenia is situated 1½ km east of Arrap’ii Hin.

Arapi is a village in the Akhuryan Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia. Statistical Committee of Armenia reported its population was 2,053 in 2010, up from 1,980 at the 2001 census.

Gyumri
