Moctezuma metro station

Moctezuma is a station on Line 1 the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Colonia Moctezuma and Colonia Balbuena neighborhoods of the Venustiano Carranza borough, to the northeast of the centre of Mexico City.

The Palacio de Lecumberri is a large building, formerly a prison, in the northeast of Mexico City, Mexico, which now houses the General National Archive. Palacio de Lecumberri is situated 1 km north of Moctezuma metro station.

San Lázaro is a station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City. It lies along Lines 1 and B. The station was opened on 5 September 1969. San Lázaro metro station is situated 600 metres northwest of Moctezuma metro station.

The La Merced Market is a traditional public market located in the eastern edge of the historic center of Mexico City and is the largest retail traditional food market in the entire city. La Merced Market is situated 1½ km west of Moctezuma metro station.

Tlatelolco was a pre-Columbian altepetl, or city-state, in the Valley of Mexico. Its inhabitants, known as the Tlatelolca, were part of the Mexica, a Nahuatl-speaking people who arrived in what is now central Mexico in the 13th century. Tlatelolco is situated 4 km northwest of Moctezuma metro station.
