Sørkedalen is a valley located in the northwestern part of Oslo municipality, northwest of Oslo's western suburbs, in Norway. The valley stretches from the suburb of Røa to Skansebakken. Sørkedalen is situated 4½ km southwest of Kopperhaugene.

Holmenkollen is a mountain and a neighbourhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It goes up to 500 metres above sea level and is well known for its international skiing competitions. Holmenkollen is situated 9 km south of Kopperhaugene.
