Qualibou, also known as the Soufrière Volcanic Center, is a 3.5 × 5 km-wide caldera on the island of Saint Lucia that formed between 32,000 and 39,000 years ago.

The Pitons are two mountainous volcanic plugs, volcanic spires, located in Saint Lucia. Petit Piton is 743 m high and Gros Piton is 798.25 m high; they are linked by the Piton Mitan ridge. Pitons is situated 2½ miles southwest of Sulphur Springs.

It belongs to one of two of the 11 quarters, or sections of the island, which were sometimes called "districts", which is no longer under control of the British colonial government as of 1979 AD. Saltibus is situated 3 miles southeast of Sulphur Springs.

Choiseul was originally known as Anse Citron, and an independent parish was established in 1765. In 1769 a census was done and recorded 75 whites, 25 free coloured, 512 negroes and 69 estates in Choiseul. Choiseul is situated 4½ miles south of Sulphur Springs.
