Beaufort Castle

Beaufort Castle or Castle Dounie is a Baronial style mansion built in 1880 and incorporating older building work. It is situated on the right bank of the River Beauly near the town of Beauly in Inverness-shire and is 1 mile north of Kiltarlity and 13 mi west of Inverness. Beaufort Castle is situated 2 miles southeast of Torgormack.

Beauly railway station is a railway station in the village of Beauly, in the Highland council area of Scotland. Located on the Far North Line, it is 10 miles 12 chains down the line from Inverness, and is the first intermediate station on the line, before reaching Muir of Ord. Beauly railway station is situated 2 miles east of Torgormack.
