Cho La

Cho La is a summit pass located 5,420 metres above sea level in the Solukhumbu District in northeastern Nepal. It connects the village of Dzongla to the east and the village of Thagnak to the west.

Nirekha peak, Nepal, is in the same chain as the Lobuche summits, east of the Cho La Col. The peak is in the list of the new 'A' trekking peaks, for which, in 2006, a peak fee of $500 had to be paid.

Lobuche is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche is situated 4 km southeast of Niro Cho.

Dughla is a small hamlet in Solukhumbu District in the Himalayas of Nepal, to the south of Khumbu Glacier. The settlement, consisting of several huts, is located at an elevation of 4,620 metres, making it one of the highest settlements in the world, but… Thukla is situated 5 km southeast of Niro Cho.

Gorakshep

Gorak Shep, also spelled Gorakshep, is a settlement nestled on the periphery of a frozen lakebed blanketed with sand in Nepal, sharing its name with the locale. Gorakshep is situated 6 km east of Niro Cho.
