Glasdrum Wood is national nature reserve at the head of Loch Creran in Argyll and Bute on the west coast of Scotland. Managed by NatureScot, the wood is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, including sessile oak and ash trees, mosses, liverworts and rare invertebrates, like the chequered skipper butterfly.
Gleann Dubh
Reservoir
The reservoir is an impounding reservoir located 9 kilometres north east of the Connel Bridge in Barcaldine Forest. The earthen dam is 23.4 metres high and was completed in 1984. Gleann Dubh is situated 2½ miles southwest of Glasdrum Wood.
