Dalavich is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It lies on the western bank of Loch Awe and has a population of around 70. It is located 30 miles from the main town and port of Oban, connected by the villages of Kilchrenan and Taynuilt. Dalavich is situated 3½ miles west of Loch Sionnaich.

Inveraray is in the Argyll and Bute region of Highland Scotland, on the north shore of Loch Fyne. It's dominated by its castle, built by the 3rd Duke of Argyll - but the 5th Duke went further and rebuilt the entire town 1772-1800.
