Garth railway station is a railway station serving the village of Garth, Bridgend, Wales. It is located on the Maesteg Line from Cardiff via Bridgend. The station is known as Garth in order to differentiate it from Garth.

Llangynwyd is a village 2 miles to the south of Maesteg, in the county borough of Bridgend, Wales. There are two parts to Llangynwyd, the larger more recent village is simply known as Llangynwyd while the smaller much older part which contains St Cynwyds church is locally known as "Top Llan".
