Leadhills, originally settled for the accommodation of miners, is a village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, 5+3⁄4 miles WSW of Elvanfoot. The population in 1901 was 835. Leadhills is situated 6 miles northwest of Comb Law.

Elvanfoot is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Elvanfoot is located at the confluence of the River Clyde and Elvan Water. The Clyde is crossed by a pedestrian suspension bridge that has been closed since 2007 for want of repair. Elvanfoot is situated 6 miles north of Comb Law.
