Sgùrr nan Gillean

Sgùrr nan Gillean is a peak in the northern part of the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. With a height of 966 metres, it is one of eleven Munros in the Cuillins. Sgùrr nan Gillean is situated 2 miles northwest of Meallan Dearg.

Sgùrr Alasdair

Sgùrr Alasdair is the highest peak of the Black Cuillin, and the highest peak on the Isle of Skye and in the Inner Hebrides, and indeed in all the Scottish islands, at 992 m. Sgùrr Alasdair is situated 2½ miles southwest of Meallan Dearg.

Am Basteir

Am Basteir is a mountain peak in the northern Cuillin range on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It is 934 metres high and classed as a Munro. It forms a narrow blade of rock, which bears comparison with the Inaccessible Pinnacle in the same range. Am Basteir is situated 2 miles northwest of Meallan Dearg.

Camasunary

Camasunary is a bay on the Strathaird peninsula of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Camasunary is the Scots form of the Gaelic name Camas Fhionnairigh, and means "Bay of the White Shieling". The township has about 10 ruined houses. Camasunary is situated 3 miles southeast of Meallan Dearg.

Sligachan

Sligachan is a tiny settlement on Skye, at the head of the sea inlet Loch Sligachan. It's just a road junction with some accommodation, often used as a base for climbing the Cuillin.

Glenbrittle

Glenbrittle is a remote area of Skye. It is most useful as a base for walking and climbing the Black Cuillin, including the famous "Inaccessible Pinnacle".
