Ardvreck Castle is a castle, now ruinous, standing on a rocky promontory in Loch Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland, UK. The structure dates from about 1490 and is associated with the then landowners, the Macleods of Assynt.

Glas Bheinn is a mountain in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It lies in the Assynt area of Sutherland, in the far north of the country. A steep and rugged mountain in its own right, Britain's highest waterfall, the Eas a' Chual Aluinn, falls from its slopes.

Inchnadamph is a hamlet in Assynt, Sutherland, Scotland. The name is an anglicisation of the Gaelic name Innis nan Damh meaning "meadow of the stags". Assynt is a remote area with a low population density. Inchnadamph is situated 1½ miles south of Eadar a‘ Chalda.

Kylesku

Kylesku is a fishing hamlet in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands. Until 1984, it was the site of a free ferry. It takes its name from Caolas Cumhann, Gaelic for "narrow strait", which is the channel just to the west of the village that connects Loch Glencoul and Loch Glendubh to Loch a' Chàirn Bhàin. Kylesku is situated 6 miles north of Eadar a‘ Chalda.
