Airds Castle

Airds Castle is a ruined medieval castle near Carradale, Kintyre, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The castle held a position on the summit of a rocky headland between Carradale harbour and the bay of Port Righ, looking across Kilbrannan Sound to the Isle of Arran.

Torr Mor

Torr Mor is a hill peak landform on the coastal east side of the Kintyre Peninsula in Scotland. The peak offers views over the Kilbrannan Sound. The Forestry Commission maintain a footpath over the hill.

Carradale House is a Grade B listed mansion house near Carradale, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Constructed in the 17th century, the house was extended in 1844 for Richard Campbell and designed by David Bryce and William Burn.

Grogport is a hamlet in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It lies on the coast of Kintyre, on the Kilbrannan Sound, across from Pirnmill on the Isle of Arran. Grogport is situated 3½ miles north of Airds.

Saddell is a small Scottish village situated on the east side of the Kintyre Peninsula of Argyll and Bute, overlooking the Kilbrannan Sound and the Isle of Arran, 8 miles from Campbeltown on the B842 road to Carradale. Saddell is situated 4½ miles south of Airds.

The Isle of Arran is part of Ayrshire in southwest Scotland. It lies in the Firth of Clyde, the broad reach of sea southwest of Glasgow and enclosed by the Ayrshire coast to the east and the Kintyre peninsula to the west. Pirnmill is situated 5 miles northeast of Airds.
