Kirby Frith Nature Reserve

Kirby Frith is a 2.1-hectare Local Nature Reserve on the western outskirts of Leicester. It is owned and managed by Leicester City Council. This site is described by Natural England as the richest wildflower grassland in the county, with species such as devil's-bit scabious, betony and yellow rattle.

Kirby Muxloe Castle, also known historically as Kirby Castle, is a ruined, fortified manor house in Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire, England. William, Lord Hastings, began work on the castle in 1480, founding it on the site of a pre-existing manor house.

Braunstone is a town and civil parish in the district of Blaby in Leicestershire, England. At the 2011 census the population of the town was 16,850. Braunstone is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, giving a population of "two sokemen and four villeins".
