Aith Lifeboat Station is located at the southern end of Aith Voe, in Aith, a village on the north-west coast of the mainland of the Shetland archipelago, approximately 18 miles from Lerwick. Aith Lifeboat Station is situated 2½ miles north of Bixter.

Twatt is a settlement in the Shetland Islands of Scotland. It is located on the Shetland Mainland on a minor road that leads from the A971 road to Clousta, north of Bixter.

Aith

Aith, is a village on the Northern coast of the West Shetland Mainland, Scotland at the southern end of Aith Voe, some 21 miles west of Lerwick. Aith lies on the B9071 that runs south to the junction with the A971 at the village of Bixter and North East via East Burrafirth to the junction with the A970 at the village of Voe. Aith is situated 2½ miles north of Bixter.

Clousta

Clousta is a hamlet on Mainaland, in the island's west, Shetland, Scotland. Approximately seventy people live here, many of whom are commuters, but local industries include mussel farming, and crofting. Clousta is in the parish of Sandsting. Clousta is situated 3½ miles northwest of Bixter.
