Connel Ferry railway station

Connel Ferry railway station is a railway station serving the village of Connel in western Scotland. This station is on the Oban branch of the West Highland Line, originally part of the Callander and Oban Railway, between Oban and Taynuilt, sited 65 miles 30 chains from Callander via Glen Ogle. Connel Ferry railway station is situated 1½ miles north of Eilean an t-Sagairt.

Connel is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is situated on the southern shore of Loch Etive. The Lusragan Burn flows through the village and into the loch. Connel is situated 2 miles northwest of Eilean an t-Sagairt.

Falls of Lora

The Falls of Lora is a tidal race which forms at the mouth of Loch Etive when a particularly high tide runs out from the loch. They form white water rapids for two to five days either side of the spring tides. Falls of Lora is situated 2 miles northwest of Eilean an t-Sagairt.

Dunbeg, formerly known as Dunstaffnage, is a village about 2+1⁄2 miles outside of Oban, Scotland. It has a population of just under 1,000. It is home to the Scottish Association for Marine Science, one of the primary marine science centres in the UK. Dunbeg is situated 3 miles west of Eilean an t-Sagairt.
