Beinn Mhòr

Beinn Mhòr is a mountain on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. With a height of 620 metres, it is the highest point on the island and the most westerly mountain in Scotland and Great Britain. Beinn Mhòr is situated 2 miles northwest of Eilean Bholuim.

South Uist is an island in the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides of Scotland, with a population in 2022 of 1650. It extends 25 miles north-south and 5 miles east-west, and has long been linked by road north to Benbecula and North Uist, and since 2002 it has been linked south to Eriskay.

Milton is the name of a tack or tenant farm on the island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. It was on this tack that Jacobite heroine Flora MacDonald was born and spent her childhood. Milton is situated 6 miles west of Eilean Bholuim.
