The Erez Crossing, also known as the Beit Hanoun Crossing, is a border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel. It is located at the northern end of the Gaza Strip, between the Israeli kibbutz of Erez and the Palestinian city of Beit Hanoun. Erez Crossing is situated 290 metres east of Erez Crossing.

Nisanit was the largest Israeli settlement in the northern tip of the Gaza Strip in a mini-settlement bloc including Elei Sinai and Dugit. While Nisanit was under the municipal authority of the Hof Aza Regional Council it was not physically in the Gush Katif bloc where the bulk of the 'Gush Katif' settlements were located. Nisanit is situated 1¼ km west of Erez Crossing.

The Umm al-Nasr Mosque, also known as the Beit Hanoun Mosque, is the oldest mosque in the Palestinian city of Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip. It is located in the center of the city and was built in 1239 CE. Nasr Mosque is situated 2 km south of Erez Crossing.

Erez is a kibbutz in southwestern Israel. Located just 1 kilometre north of the Gaza Strip, it is the namesake of the nearby Erez Crossing. The kibbutz was founded in 1949 and moved to its current location in 1950.
