The Hôtel de Hanau, also known as the Hôtel de ville and as the Hanauer Hof, is a historic building located on the Place Broglie on the Grande Île in the city center of Strasbourg, in the French department of the Bas-Rhin. Hôtel de Hanau is situated 130 metres northwest of Rue des Charpentiers.

The Grande Île is an island that lies at the historic centre of the city of Strasbourg in France. Its name means "Large Island", and derives from the fact that it is surrounded on one side by the main channel of the Ill river and on the other side by the Canal du Faux-Rempart, a canalised arm of that river. Grande Île is situated 350 metres west of Rue des Charpentiers.
