The is a large medieval fortified palace in the centre of the old city of Aleppo, northern . It is considered to be one of the oldest and largest castles in the world.

Saint Elijah Cathedral, is an Eastern Catholic church in Aleppo, Syria, located in the Christian quarter of al-Jdayde. It is named after the Biblical prophet Elijah. The church was built in 1873, replacing an older Maronite Church. It was renovated in 1914.

Bāb Antakiya is a critical defense gate in Aleppo, which protects the city from the west. Bab Antakiya is located in the centre of the western wall of the old city of Aleppo, and its name was derived from Antioch, the capital of ancient Syria, as the gate was the main exit which was leading to the city of Antioch.
