Ambarnath is a railway station on the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is an important terminus for local commuters. Ambarnath is famous for its namesake Ambreshwar mandir, a temple dedicated to Shiva and therefore commonly known as Shivmandir.
