Santiniketan, also spelt Shantiniketan, is a town in the Birbhum district of West Bengal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Deeply associated with the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and his brainchild Visva-Bharati University, around 1.2 million people visit Santiniketan for its unique blend of education, culture, and nature.

Nanoor

Nanoor is a small town in the central region of West Bengal. It is the birthplace of 14th century lyric poet Chandidas of Vaishnava Padavali fame. This could be a place to visit if one has the interest of Vaishnava Padavali literature and keen interest in the great life of Chandidas.
