Langtang National Park is a national park in north-central Nepal. It was established in 1976 as Nepal's first Himalayan national park and the country's fourth protected area.

Jiri is a town in the Central Himalayas region of Nepal, and the nearest roadhead for trekkers heading to Everest Base Camp.

Kaksni is in the Nuwakot District. It is 20 km along the road from Kathmandu to Trisuli Baazar, the turn-off to the village is just before the police checkpoint where there is a cluster of shops.
