Syangboche Airport is a domestic airport located in Namche Bazaar serving Solukhumbu District, a district in Koshi Province in Nepal. Syangboche Airport’s first and foremost challenge is its elevation at 3,780 m; it is exposed to some of the most extreme and capricious weather conditions in the world, with heavy winds, fog and snowfall.

Khunde is a village in the Khumbu region of Nepal within the Sagarmatha National Park. It is directly adjacent to Khumjung village in the valley at the foot of Khumbu Yül-Lha, the sacred mountain of the Sherpas.
