Zipaquirá

Zipaquirá is a cute colonial town of some 70,000 people about an hour north of Bogotá in the Cundinamarca province. It is Colombia's salt mining capital and is famous for its Salt Cathedral, constructed almost entirely of salt within a defunct mine.
Chía

Chía is a town just north of Bogotá in Cundinamarca, most famous for its 24-hour dance party at the steakhouse, Andrés Carne de Res.
Funza

Funza is a municipality and town of Colombia in the Western Savanna Province, of the department of Cundinamarca. Funza is situated on the Bogotá savanna, the southwestern part of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense with the urban centre at an altitude of 2,548 metres.

La Calera

La Calera is a sleepy looking town in the mountains of Cundinamarca, just outside Bogotá. Don't let looks fool you—this is one of the wealthiest towns in Colombia, and plenty of the farms play host to wealthy Bogotanos on weekends.
Choachí

Choachí is a small town east of Bogotá, in Cundinamarca. It is 1923 meters above sea level, much lower than Bogotá and hence with milder weather.
