South Gujarat
South Gujarat is a region in the Indian state of Gujarat. The region has a wetter climate than other regions of Gujarat. The western part is almost coastal and is known as the kantha vistar, and the eastern part is also known as dungar vistar, which ranges from 100 metres to 1,000 metres, with the highest peak at Saputara in the Dang district.Essential Destinations

Surat

Surat, a bustling commercial city in South Gujarat, is a major gemstone centre with over 92% of the world's diamonds being cut here. On the banks of the Tapi River, Surat was a major port in medieval India as well as the early British colonial times till the formation of the city of Bombay.
Daman

Daman is a city and an enclave within Gujarat, on the west coast of India. It was under the control of Portugal from 1539 to 1961, and as a result of this, Portuguese influence is still palpable today, particularly in the architectural and cultural spheres.
Silvassa

Silvassa is an industrial town in Western India, wedged between Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is a part of the former Portuguese colony of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Valsad is a city of 170,000 people in the Indian state Gujarat. It used to be called Bulsar and be the administrative capital of Valsad district. It's famous for its mango orchards and an increasingly popular destination with a nice beach and several temples.

Kevadia, officially known as Ekta Nagar, is a town of 6,800 people in South Gujarat, India. It is best known for the Statue of Unity, a colossal statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Ahwa
Ahwa is the headquarters of Dang District in the state of Gujarat, in India. It is situated about 1800 feet above the sea level. The whole district, inhabited by the tribal people, is a hilly area covered with thick forest.Dharampur

Saputara

Saputara is Gujarat's only hill station, in the Dang district of South Gujarat. It is located on a plateau in the Western Ghats, at an altitude of 1,000m above sea level.
