Hemsedal is a valley and small town in Norway with about 2000 inhabitants, in the middle of South Norway, right between Oslo and Bergen, it is the northern branch of the great Hallingdal valley.

Geilo is a small town and ski resort in upper Hallingdal at the edge of Hardangervidda. It is convenient stop on the road or rail between Oslo and Bergen.

The Nes Power Station is a hydroelectric power station located in the municipality Nes in Buskerud, Norway. The facility operates at an installed capacity of 250 MW. The average annual production is 1,330 GWh. The station is operated by E-CO Vannkraft.
