České Budějovice is in South Bohemia, in the Czech Republic. The town has since grown into the metropolitan centre. It is the largest town in South Bohemia region and it has approximately 96,000 inhabitants.
Český Krumlov

Český Krumlov is a beautiful town of 14,600 inhabitants in Southern Bohemia, in the Czech Republic. Like Prague, the town is situated on the Vltava River and is full of Baroque buildings housing cafes and bars, features a spectacular castle, and an old-town square.

Bohemian Forest is a national park in South Bohemia part of Czech Republic. The forest is a part of largest protected forest area of Central Europe and both the woods and the mountain range that forms its backbone stretch in Germany, Czech Republic and Austria.

Písek is a town in South Bohemia, known for having the oldest stone bridge in the Czech Republic. Due to its nice small historic centre, Písek might be a good stop on a journey between Prague and South Bohemia.
Holašovice

Holašovice is a small village in South Bohemia, located 15 km from the region capital, České Budějovice. Listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Holašovice is the best example of something called "Selské Baroko ", which means very strongly decorated and colorful village houses from 19th century.

Hluboká nad Vltavou is a town in South Bohemia region, with around 5,000 inhabitants. Although known mainly for its beautiful château, it offers much more to the visitor.
Slavonice

Slavonice is a historic town of roughly 2300 inhabitants in 2022 in South Bohemia, near the border with Austria. Because of its well-preserved renaissance centre, it is called "smaller Telč".
