Mastichochoria is an agricultural area in the Greek island of Chios. It is the most prominent producer of the mastic, a resin obtained from the domesticated mastic tree; in fact, the tree is endemic to this area and, thus, the resin grown there has a PDO status.Photo: Wikimedia, CC BY-SA 2.0.
