Tangmarg is a town and tehsil in Baramulla district in Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In 2014, Tangmarg was granted a sub division and trifurcated into three Tehsils, with Sub Divisional Magistrate SDM Office located at Tangmarg. Tangmarg is situated 7 km north of Damdama tower.

Baba Rishi c. 1411 – c. 1480; born Payam ud-Din, was a revered 15th-century Sufi saint from Kashmir. Born in 1411 CE in Chander-nau-gaon, near Ganderbal, he was the son of a nobleman serving in the court of Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin. Baba Payam ud Din Reshi is situated 10 km northwest of Damdama tower.
