Island

Ceabhaigh is a small island in an arm of Loch Ròg on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It is about 25 hectares in extent. It is not known if the island was ever permanently inhabited. Ceabhaigh is situated 1½ miles south of Beannan Beag.

Calanais is a village on the west side of the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Calanais is within the parish of Uig. A linear settlement with a jetty, it is on a headland jutting into Loch Roag, a sea loch 13 miles west of Stornoway. Callanish is situated 2½ miles south of Beannan Beag.

Although the village name comes from a geographical feature rather than a steading it is generally believed to be an ancient settlement. Breaclete is situated 3 miles west of Beannan Beag.
