Great Bernera is an island in the Outer Hebrides or Western Isles of Scotland. It lies just off the northwest coast of Lewis and is connected by a bridge.

Dun Carloway is a broch situated in the district of Carloway, on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. It is a remarkably well preserved broch – on the east side parts of the old wall still reach to 9 metres tall.

Breacleit is the central village on Great Bernera in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Breaclete is within the parish of Uig. Although the village name comes from a geographical feature rather than a steading it is generally believed to be an ancient settlement. Breaclete is situated 2 miles southwest of Cnoc a‘ Charnain.

Carloway is a crofting township and a district on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. The district has a population of around 500. Carloway township is within the parish of Uig, and is situated on the A858. Carloway is situated 2½ miles northeast of Cnoc a‘ Charnain.
