Squirrel Island is an island in the Gulf of Maine and village within the town of Southport, Maine, United States. It was established as a summer community in 1871.
Burnt Island Light Station

The Burnt Island Light, built in 1821, is the second oldest surviving lighthouse in Maine. It hosts a living history museum run by the state Department of Marine Resources.
