Kakaʻako Waterfront Park, also known as "Point Panic Park", is a public park in Kakaʻako, south of downtown Honolulu, just off Ala Moana Boulevard at the end of Cooke Street.

Founded in 1989, the 38,000 sq ft museum receives over 200,000 visits from children and their families every year. Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center is situated 240 metres northeast of Lāhui.

The ʻIolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi beginning with Kamehameha III under the Kamehameha Dynasty and ending with Queen Liliʻuokalani under the Kalākaua Dynasty. Iolani Palace is situated 1½ km north of Lāhui.
