The Golestan Palace, is the former official royal Qajar complex in Tehran, Iran. One of the oldest historic monuments in the capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Golestan Palace consists of a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud-thatched defensive walls of Tehran's citadel. Golestan Palace is situated 190 metres northwest of Emarat-e Badgir.

Shams-ol-Emareh, translated as the Edifice of the Sun, is one of Tehran’s historic buildings and a remnant of Qajar Iran. It is one of the most prominent buildings on the east side of Golestan Palace.

The Marble Throne is a Qajar era throne in Golestan Palace, Tehran, Iran. The throne was commissioned by Fath-Ali Shah Qajar in 1805. It was designed by Mirza Baba Shirazi and royal stonecutter, Mohammad Ebrahim Esfahani. The Marble Throne is situated 260 metres northwest of Emarat-e Badgir.
