Val Camonica or Valcamonica or Valle Camonica is a valley in the northern part of Italy. Valle Camonica is also a UNESCO heritage site.

Cerveno is a comune of 683 inhabitants in Val Camonica, province of Brescia, Lombardy, northern Italy. The village of Cerveno is bounded by other communes of Braone, Ceto, Losine, Lozio, Malegno, Ono San Pietro, Paisco Loveno, Schilpario.

Bedolina Map

The Bedolina Map is a famous engraved prehistoric rock which is part of the Camonica Valley petroglyph complex. It is known as one of the most ancient topographic maps, interpreted as a depiction of cultivated plots, mountain paths and villages. Bedolina Map is situated 3 km northeast of Baite Natù.

Cemmo, is a frazione of Capo di Ponte, located right of river Oglio, beneath the Concarena. It was one of the first settlements in Val Camonica, as it can be deduced from the numerous rock drawings that have been found here; nowadays it has a population of about 600.

This small, quiet town is one of Europe’s most extraordinary prehistoric sites: it sits at the centre of the Val Camonica Rock Art, a vast collection of over 140,000 petroglyphs carved into sandstone over thousands of years.
