Y Lliwedd

Y Lliwedd is a mountain, connected to Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Its summit lies 898 metres above sea level. The eastern flanks are steep cliffs rising above Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw.

Llyn Llydaw

Llyn Llydaw is a natural lake in Snowdonia National Park on the flanks of Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain. This long thin lake has formed in a cwm about one-third of the way up the mountain.

Gallt y Wenallt

Gallt y Wenallt is a subsidiary summit of Y Lliwedd in Snowdonia National Park, north Wales. It lies at the end of the north ridge. Its northern face is reputed to be the longest slope in Snowdonia, being close to 2000 ft.

Rhyd Ddu

Rhyd-ddu is a small village in Snowdonia, North Wales which is a starting point for walks up Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran and the Nantlle Ridge. It lies on the A4085 4 miles north of Beddgelert, at its junction with the B4418 to Nantlle and Penygroes. Rhyd Ddu railway station is one of the stops on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.

Cwm Idwal

Cwm Idwal is a cirque in the Glyderau range of mountains in northern Snowdonia, the national park in the mountainous region of North Wales. Its main interest is to hill walkers and rock climbers, but it is also of interest to geologists and naturalists, given its combination of altitude, aspect and terrain. Cwm Idwal is situated 4 miles north of Lliwedd Copper Mine.
