Knock Castle
Knock Castle, also known as Caisteal Chamuis is a former stronghold of Clan MacLeod of Lewis and later, MacDonalds. It lies on the east coast of Sleat, approximately five miles north of Armadale on the Isle of Skye, south of Cnoc Uaine, on the eastern side of Knock Bay. Bun-sgoil Shlèite and Sleat Medical Centre are located at the southern end of Kilmore, and the Gaelic college Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is 1⁄2 mile southwest.
