The Umm al-Tabul Mosque is a large mosque located in the Yarmouk neighborhood of Baghdad, in the Baghdad Governorate of Iraq. Built in commemoration of the officers participating in the 1959 Mosul uprising, the mosque is notable for its unique architecture which takes inspiration from Egyptian Islamic architecture, specifically the Citadel of Saladin in Cairo. Umm al-Tabul Mosque is situated 750 metres southwest of Qahtan Square.
As-Salam Palace

The as-Salam Palace is a former home of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. Since 2012, the palace has been certified as a Republican Palace. As-Salam Palace is situated 1½ km northeast of Qahtan Square.
