Dun Cruinn is a prehistoric site about 10 kilometres north-west of Portree, on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is on the Skerinish Peninsula, between Loch Snizort Beag and Loch Eyre.

Uig

Uig is a village in the north of Skye, with a population of 423 in 2011. "Uig" derives from Old Norse vík, a bay, and it's a port with ferries to the Outer Hebrides.

Stein is a small settlement on Waternish, the middle peninsula of the north coast of Skye, in the Scottish Hebrides. It's scenic but tiny. More visitor facilities can be found a few miles east at Edinbane, which lies along the main road between Portree and Dunvegan.
