Loch Duntelchaig is a freshwater loch in the traditional county of Inverness-shire in the Scottish Highlands. It extends 5 kilometres from the southwest to its outflow in the northeast and measures up to 1.75 kilometres at its widest. Loch Duntelchaig is situated 2 miles northwest of Crannog.

Dores is a village located on the east shore of Loch Ness, 10 km south west of the city of Inverness, in the Highland council area of Scotland. The now defunct RockNess music festival used to take place in fields to the north of the village. Dores is situated 4½ miles northwest of Crannog.
