Gbozounmè is an arrondissement in the Ouémé department of Benin. It is an administrative division under the jurisdiction of the commune of Avrankou. According to the population census conducted by the Institut National de la Statistique Benin on February 15, 2002, the arrondissement had a total population of 6057. Gbozounmè is situated 4 km south of Ko-Ayidjèdo.

According to the population census conducted by the Institut National de la Statistique Benin on February 15, 2002, the arrondissement had a total population of 9,498. Daagbé is situated 5 km southeast of Ko-Ayidjèdo.

Avrankou is a town in Southern Benin. The original is derived from Avlan and KOU. Later, the French changed the name to its present as they found Avlankou difficult to pronounce.Ko-Ayidjèdo
