The Martand Sun Temple is a Hindu temple located in Mattan, in the Anantnag district of the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It dates back to the eighth century CE and was dedicated to Surya, the solar deity of Hinduism; Surya is also known by the Sanskrit-language synonym Martand. Surya Temple is situated 2½ km west of Wantrag.

Achabal, also known as Achival in Kashmiri, is a town in Anantnag district, in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Achabal is an important tourist town about 8.1km away from Anantnag, and is notable for a Mughal garden called Achabal Gardens, holding an ancient spring surrounded by a terraced landscape developed by the Mughals. Achabal is situated 8 km south of Wantrag.
