Trotternish

Trotternish is the northernmost peninsula of the Isle of Skye in , spanning in length from to Rubha Hunish. The Trotternish escarpment runs almost the full length of the peninsula, some 30 kilometres, and contains landmarks such as the and the .

Sgùrr a' Mhadaidh Ruaidh is a summit in the Trotternish range of hills in the north of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It is located about ten kilometres south-east of , and 15 kilometres north of , at the point where the long ridge running from north to south down the Trotternish peninsula loops suddenly eastward.
