Pabay

Pabay is a Scottish island just off the coast of Skye. The name Pabay is derived from an old Norse word meaning "priest's isle" and there are the remains of a 13th-century chapel.

Isle of Skye Airfield is a small airfield on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, with a single runway. It is next to the hamlet of Ashaig, near the village of Broadford.

The former Mackinnon Memorial Hospital building is now vacant; it sits adjacent to the new Broadford Hospital, all services having moved into this new purpose built building in March 2022.

Broadford is a village straggling along the main road across Skye in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. All island routes converge here so you're bound to pass through it.

Kyleakin

Kyleakin is a village on the island of Skye, traditionally a ferry port. It has become quieter since the Skye Bridge replaced the ferry from the mainland, but is an attractive small place worth a stop. In 2011 the population was around 300.

Kyle of Lochalsh

Kyle of Lochalsh is a village in Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands, with a population of 590 in 2020. It is just across the water from Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye and was the traditional route to Skye by ferry.
