Mount Meron

Mount Meron, also known as Mount Jarmaq or Jebel Jarmaq, is a mountain in the Upper Galilee region of Israel. It has special significance in Jewish religious tradition and parts of it have been declared a nature reserve. Mount Meron is situated 3½ km southwest of Jish Branch West.

Bar'am National Park is a national park in Israel, between kibbutz Sasa and moshav Dovev, near the Lebanese border. On the grounds of the park is a two ancient Jewish synagogues from the Talmudic period, and the ruins of the depopulated Palestinian village of Kafr Bir'im, after which the park is named. Bar’am National Park is situated 3½ km northwest of Jish Branch West.

Jish, also known by its Hebrew name of Gush Halab, or by its classical name of Gischala, is a local council in Upper Galilee, located on the northeastern slopes of Mount Meron, 13 kilometres north of Safed, in Israel's Northern District.
