Nocera Superiore is a town and comune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy. It was the core of the ancient city of Nuceria Alfaterna, later known as Nuceria Constantia, Nuceria Christianorum and then Nuceria Paganorum, which also included the nowadays territories of Nocera Inferiore, Pagani and smaller towns.
